First Phase of making websites

Took one whole year to write a post on this blog but somethings got me busy.

I had been trying to make a new website or a couple of websites but was really confused how to proceed and how to get things right.

At first  thought I will get the deep knowledge of html but html alone is not so good, the add on's which come with it like CSS and Javascipt are really required, that made me drop this idea because to get to know all three of them I was suppose to read a hell lot of books and tutorial videos to get some idea about those stuff. This also made me realized that the same will go for php and so on.

So now the question which was going on and on in my mind was how to make my website?

For a while I felt that I should start learning those languages because nothing was coming in my mind.

But then the next day only I came to know about the existence of things popularly known as CMS or Content Management Softwares. I was totally taken aback when I came to know more about some of their sailent features such as:

• All the codes are totally pre-designed
• Millions of successful websites running on this platforms
• Choice to write the content for the website in both text and html format
• Awesome themes out there to start with
• SEO or Search Engine Optimization can be easily done with some ready to use modules/plugins  (If you don't know what exactly is SEO, no worries because in the starting we basically have no idea about such stuffs. So for now the only way I can explain is SEO is basically are ways to get your website/blog ranked high in the search engines which helps in getting a large amount of traffic)

After I came to know about all the amazing features about CMS I couldn't stop myself and so I signed up for a hosting plan with that I bought a bunch of domains for the niche I was always interested in. I installed drupal's latest version with no delays. (If anyone has any problems regarding drupal's installation let me know in the comments I can write a clear post regarding that) The next thing where I headed to was making the best use of this CMS so I headed towards getting the best themes and plugins.
